I have been asked to make a payment outside the platform, what should I do?
We strongly recommend that you do not make advance payments outside the platform. The safest way to book a room is to make the first payment through our secure payment system.
If you make the first payment through badi:
- You are protected against fraud or scams.
- You can be sure that your money will be blocked on the platform until your check-in date.
- You can report any issue with the room on the move-in day (see our Terms and Conditions), so we can investigate the case.
- Our customer service team will always be available for your needs.
- If the owner cancels your reservation last minute, you can be sure that we will refund 100% of your payment and help you find the best solution.

Your safety is our number one priority.
This means that we provide you with everything you need to search and book your perfect room in a safe and reliable manner. Trust us and remember to follow these quick tips:
- ✅Keep all communications with other users on Badi secure messaging system.
- ❌Do not share your personal or contact information (phone number or email address) with anyone.
- ❌Do not trust "too good to be true" listings (amazing images and location for a very low price);
- ❌Our email domain is @badi.com or @badiapp.com Do not trust any other email domain on our behalf.
- ❌ Remember we will never ask you to make a payment by bank transfer;
- ✅Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions, we will be happy to help you.
How can I report a user?
If you have had a problem with another user, please do not hesitate to report it so that we can proceed to investigate.
If you're using the mobile app, go to the corresponding post and click on the 3 vertical dots at the top right of the screen. From there, you can choose whether you want to report the user. You can also report the user by entering the chat and touching the same 3 vertical dots.
If you’re using the website, go to your conversation with that user and scroll down to the bottom of the screen where you will see the option "Report User". Click there and select the reason why you want to report the user.
✅ Tip: Give us all the information about why you are reporting the user or the room. This will help us take the necessary action as quickly as possible.
